Our Tutoring Program is exempt from Child Care Licensing.
Our Course Offering: Diversified and Customized for You
Space City Tutoring and Learning Center provides a wide selection of courses and seminars. We have something for everyone, young and old, new and returning students.
Now available… online tutoring. We recognize that some students prefer and excel at in-person tutoring. Due to the convenience of technology and the high skills of our tutors, we now offer online tutoring sessions in as little as 30-minute increments, and discounts on our hourly packages.
Class Overview
We work with the technology that the student is already using, to include:
- Facetime
- Skype
- Google Apps – (Hangouts, etc.)
- Other video communication software options
We focus on the learning and use technology to maximize students’ time. This will make it convenient to learn in the available time the students have.
One benefit of online tutoring is that it saves time and money compared to driving to a physical location. Online tutoring is identical to in-person tutoring with the exception of the phone and/or computer camera will be utilized.
Students need to be prepared with:
- homework,
- questions,
- textbooks, eBooks,
- syllabus,
- handouts/worksheets,
- pencils, notebook and blank papers
All should be organized and ready on their work table.
Tutors will be doing the same on their end. Tutors will be prepared with:
- computer access to view the same webpages the student is seeing,
- has either a phone or computer camera for communication,
- subject materials and notebook ready to assist students on how to work through their assignments/tasks.
This allows quick efficient tutoring saving the students and parent’s significant time.
Online Tutoring Cost:
- One hour session - $40.00
- ½ hour session - $20.00
