I am from Ohio and graduated from Miami University with a major in sociology. From there I became an international flight attendant based in Florida, New York, Hawaii and California. I spent five of my 17 years flying to Japan – Kyoto, Tokyo, Narita and Osaka. While traveling around the world, I worked as a purser, recruiter, instructor and grooming coordinator. After starting a family, I choose to leave the airlines to be a stay-at-home mom. Later, I worked in education - teaching careers, business, merchandising, computers and ESL. I have been testing and instructing at College of the Mainland for seven years and provide private tutoring and corporate education for Vietnamese and Japanese nationals.
